About Us
The
Hanging Place sells custom framing, art and
accessories from our gallery located in historic
Englishtown, NJ. A Revolutionary War battle was
fought just down the street and George Washington
and his generals headquartered at the Village Inn
here in town. Englishtown is the kind of place that
you envision when you think of small towns in
America with its charming downtown, church steeples
and clapboard sided houses with front porches. Now
it is home to the Hanging Place. An exceptional
place for custom framing, art and accessories.
At The
Hanging Place we believe that the spaces where we
live and work define us. We are creatively inspired
individuals with a passion for creating beautiful
décor for all of those spaces. Custom framing, art
and one-of-a-kind accessories to grace our homes and
businesses are our specialty. Exceptional design and
outstanding service are the hallmarks of our work.
We
understand how challenging it can be to find the
right look for artwork or those special items that
you wish to preserve in a custom frame and display
in your home or business. Think of your children’s
artwork arrayed in playful frames to showcase their
talents. It may be framed photographs that capture
precious moments spent with family and friends.
Consider original art accented by a grand frame
designed to impress or, simply to inspire. Envision
a sumptuous leather bound framed mirror for your den
or office. It may also be a found object or antique
that your guests comment upon and that no one else
had the foresight to acquire.
If you
aren’t looking for something new, we offer art
restoration and frame restoration services to bring
a family heirloom back to life or to rescue a
damaged item. And, during the Holidays you may
choose to leave the decorating to us. We create,
install and store custom Christmas decorations.
Let The
Hanging Place be your place to create, or find, a
little inspiration for your spaces. Custom framing,
art, accessories or Holiday Décor, we look forward
to assisting you.
